The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, and maintaining strong customer relationships. This role will play a key part in managing cash flow and ensuring that revenue is properly recognized.

WHO YOU ARE

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role, preferably in a SaaS or subscription-based environment.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar).
- Experience with SaaS billing systems and revenue recognition is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Experience with SaaS billing systems (Zuora or other) and revenue recognition is a plus.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Invoice Management: Generate and send invoices to customers based on contract terms, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Payment Processing: Monitor and process incoming payments, including electronic transfers, checks, and credit card transactions.
Collections: Follow up on overdue accounts, initiate collection activities, and work with customers to resolve payment issues.
Account Reconciliation: Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status, aging reports, and cash flow projections.
Customer Support: Address customer inquiries related to billing, payment, and account status.
Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and customer success teams to address billing issues and ensure accurate account setup.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of transactions and communications with customers.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principles in all transactions and processes.
